Steel and Roller Ball

Steel and Roller Ball

Steel balls and rollers provide the benefit of stable physical properties as well as the capability to be graded into narrow diameter tolerances. The properties of steel include high tensile strength and hardness, a low coefficient of expansion, low thermal conductivity and low density. For improved corrosion, high temperature, and mechanical requirements, steel alloys high in carbon and chromium are preferred. Steel balls and rollers can be used for the design of non-standard bearings or in other applications such as locking mechanisms or automotive parts.
